April 24, 2009 : New York

With energy, the economy and the environment at the core to so many business mantra's today, artists sometimes are ahead and behind in the world around them. Peck Slip Studios Tour through the nation's Capitol, New York and Colorado concluded on Earth Day, 2009 at GALLERY M. The main artist is documentary film maker, Mason Hayutin. Centered around the documentary of one trucker impacted by energy and a broken love affair, "LUBIE LOVE" engages the audiences through direct and social media marketing. The journey included actors, other artists, collectors, the curious and marketers. One of the features of the "LUBIE LOVE" Tour is experiencing the brands behind the three hot button topics.

Launched in Washington DC on April 3rd at the George Washington University Documentary Film Center, the uncut version of "LUBIE LOVE" found room to discuss the importance of photography to film as well as the influence from fine art paintings. As part of the discussion, international fine artist and former film commissioner of Maryland Jay Wolf Schlossberg-Cohen introduced the influences he had from his film directing and producing career on his 30 plus years as a leading painter. On April 16, in New York City at the Tribeca Cinemas, Hayutin engaged the audience through the live performance of singer and song writer Ryan Saliman prior to the film mixed with the energy and wings of Red Bull's Wiings Team. The 66 minute version of "LUBIE LOVE" pays homage to the glory of the open road and Andreas Feininger's "Route 66".

On Earth Day, Denver's GALLERY M mixed up the variety with a honorary Earth Day "Harley Rider's" ride from Greenwood Village down University Boulevard and into the heart of Cherry Creek North. As the riders turned west off of Fillmore Street, Pulitzer Prize winning photojournalist Neal Ulevich captured the rumble. The Red Bull team of 2 minis fueled the crowd of enthusiasts mixed in with the other audience members. The Tour's success has been measured by the creative energy involved in each aspect of the Tour complemented by the topical discussions relevant to the American audiences.
